Who we are
TrackChronos is operated as a sole trader business based in Australia. This policy is governed by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). You can contact us at contact@trackchronos.com.
What data we collect and why
Email address. When you purchase a licence, your email address is collected via Stripe at checkout. We use it solely to deliver your licence key and confirm your licence on activation.
Licence status. We store your licence state (active, version entitlement) so the application can confirm your licence on activation and when checking for updates.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our third-party service providers are based outside Australia. Under APP 8, we are required to inform you that your personal information may be disclosed to overseas recipients, and that we take reasonable steps to ensure those recipients handle your data in accordance with the APPs.
Third-party processors
Stripe (United States) — payment processing. Stripe collects and stores your payment details and billing information. See Stripe's privacy policy.
Resend (United States) — transactional email delivery for licence key emails. See Resend's privacy policy.
Cloudflare (United States) — website hosting and infrastructure. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Data retention
We retain your email address and licence record for the life of your licence, and for up to 7 years after your last purchase for accounting and legal compliance purposes.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to request access to or correction of the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email us at contact@trackchronos.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you believe we have not handled your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Payment card security
We do not store or collect your payment card details. All payment information is provided directly to Stripe, who adhere to PCI-DSS standards as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council. See Stripe's privacy policy.
Security of data
The security of your data is important to us. We use industry-standard measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies
This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics. We do not use any third-party advertising or tracking scripts.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of TrackChronos after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
